If the space allows, we would advise trying to include our full long logo in either colour or black and white. If space is tight, one of our short logos is a good option to save space.
We recommend using the colour logos where possible but there are a few reasons why you might need to use the black and white versions. These are:
For documents that will only be printed in black and white.
To provide contrast on a coloured background (where the colour logo is getting lost)
To suit certain design choices where a black and white theme is implemented.
The best way to choose which logo to use is to test some out on the document, site, post, or other location to see what looks best.
LOGO FILE FORMATS
Our logos are available in four file formats, suited to print and screen.
For screen use we advise using a PNG version of the file for all publications, website posts, and graphic design due to the high quality of the image and the image’s ability to blend seamlessly onto any background.
When sharing logos on Twitter or in social media posts, we recommend using JPEG versions of these images due to their smaller file size and constant background colour.
The PDF and AI formats can be used for print publications and materials.
